Summary:

The Osprey Women's Sirrus Pack is the perfect pack for any woman who likes to get out on the trail.

osprey_sirrus-36-amethystFunctionality ★★★
This light-weight and breathable day-pack is perfect for women who refuse to wear anything on their back that causes the least bit of strain. Because the pack comes in only two sizes and is engineered to fit most any female frame, you won’t have to spend hours being sized. Furthermore, the backpanel ensures that your pack won’t become warped from use and sweat. Mesh on the backpanel also allows for excellent ventilation and comfort. Though this item has many functional features, the most utilitarian are, by far, the trekking poll attachment and built in rain cover since these very simple additions make hiking-life just a little bit easier.

Design and Aesthetics ★★★
The Sirrus comes in 3 vibrant colors-Purple Orchid, Summit Blue, and Stealth Grey. The waist belt doesn’t just function as additional storage and frame support but it also contours around your waist, accentuating the curves that you earned from repetitively putting foot to earth.

Durability ★★★
High-tenacity twill nylon and nylon rip fabric guards against rips and tears as you scramble and scrape your way up the trail. The raincover is excellent for protecting your pack from the elements which, as any good outdoorswoman knows, is the #1 enemy of your gear’s longevity.

Value ★★★
You’ll pay just over $100 for this day-pack and it’s money well-spent. Most day-packs under $100 often strain your back and don’t provide convenient spots for a reservoir, trekking poles, and other hiking accouterments. When you pay just over $100, your paying for a comfortable and durable frame, not to mention the little extras that make day treks more enjoyable.

Sirrus 24 vs. Sirrus 36
These packs are nearly identical save for their size. It all boils down to your purpose: Day-hikes or short, over-night backpacking? If you’re into both, then go with the Osprey 36, which is still light-weight and functional for a day hike but will give you extra storage for over-night adventures.trail
